Falun Dafa Association in Chisinau asks for explanations from the Moldovan Government regarding the illegal actions taken regarding the company Shen Yun Performing Arts from New York.<\/p>\n

The president of the Association, Tatiana Chiriac, mentioned on Thursday, during a press conference at INFOTAG agency, that the performers arrived in Chisinau for presenting a show of Chinese classical dance, on 25 and 26 of May, at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet.<\/p>\n

According to her, Falun Dafa Association signed a rent contract for 25 and 26 of May.<\/p>\n

Here is a translated transcript of the press conference speeches:<\/p>\n

Tatiana Chiriac:<\/h2>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u009dThe members of Shen Yun company, 100 artists, found themselves in front of the closed doors of the Theatre, with a valid contract, totally fulfilled by our side and totally unfulfilled by the administration of the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet. Now, that I am in front of you I have no answer why all that happened. We have not received a verbal answer form the theatre administration, we have not received a verbal or a written answer from the Ministry of Culture. We even organized protests in front of the Government to allow someone to get out and give us an explanation about what is going on.<\/p>\n

I make an appeal to them even now, to say that the company is still in the country; they leave the day after tomorrow- so we are ready even today to set up the scene and tomorrow to have the show, at least one, because those who suffered the most in this case, are the citizens of Republic of Moldova, those who wanted to see the show. We convinced ourselves once more that we have so many rights verbally but not in reality. It was a great loss for the people that the show didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t take place.<\/p>\n

The Theatre was so supportive at the beginning, they guaranteed everything was all right and there would not be any problem. When I talked to the Ministry of Culture- I personally talked to him on Friday- he put it plainly that the Chinese ambassador had made him a visit insisting that these shows to be canceled and to not take place in Moldova. As I understood from the Theatre administration, they had also been visited by the Chinese ambassador, not only once, with the same request. But they kept on promising they would not fall prey the pressure from the embassy and they would respect a legally signed contract stipulated by the law of Republic of Moldova, to find ourselves now in the situation that they don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t want to answer my phonecalls. All the authorities are silent now as if nothing has happened, as if there have not been100 American citizens in front of the Theatre. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s abnormal to behave like this with some foreign people who had been invited here and also have their own rights. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s such a disgrace by those who were elected by us and we entrusted our fate in their hands.<\/p>\n

We went in front of the presidency and the president told us he has nothing with breaking the show. So, I appeal to them once more: we can still stage the show in the Republic of Moldova. The troupe is still here. They did not come only to us, they are in an international tour in Europe.”<\/p>\n

Man-yan Ng:<\/h2>\n

“And we were actually very encouraged to have the opportunity to have Shen Yun to come to Moldova. And unfortunatelly you have experienced that- there was no show in Moldova. I understand from the theatre management and also from the Ministry of Culture we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve never received any expalnation why they never opened the door to the theatre. This is a sabotage from the Chinese communist regime through their different embassies in Europe. The Chinese regime doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t even allow Moldovan people to have the freedoom to choose whatever show they want to see.<\/p>\n

Some people may not see such an event of stopping a show as a big thing, but this is totally ignoring the basic human rights and basic human dignity of people. And in its extention this can mean a lot of trouble for the people in Moldova, even to allow such things to continue to happen.”<\/p>\n

Directorul asocia\u00c5\u00a3iei, Tatiana Chiriac, a men\u00c5\u00a3ionat joi, \u00c3\u00aen cadrul unei conferin\u00c5\u00a3e de pres\u00c4\u0192 la agen\u00c5\u00a3ia INFOTAG, c\u00c4\u0192 actorii au sosit la Chi\u00c5\u0178in\u00c4\u0192u pentru a prezenta \u00c3\u00aen zilele de 25 \u00c5\u0178i 26 mai pe scena Teatrului Na\u00c5\u00a3ional de Oper\u00c4\u0192 \u00c5\u0178i Balet un spectacol de dans clasic chinez.<\/p>\n

Potrivit ei, Falun Dafa a \u00c3\u00aencheiat cu teatrul un contract privind arenda scenei pentru zilele de 25 \u00c5\u0178i 26 mai.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u017eAsocia\u00c5\u00a3ia a respectat condi\u00c5\u00a3iile contractului, \u00c3\u00aenc\u00c4\u0192 \u00c3\u00aen ziua c\u00c3\u00aend urma s\u00c4\u0192 aib\u00c4\u0192 loc spectacolul conducerea teatrului nu a permis actorilor s\u00c4\u0192-\u00c5\u0178i aduc\u00c4\u0192 echipamentul \u00c5\u0178i s\u00c4\u0192 \u00c3\u00aenceap\u00c4\u0192 repeti\u00c5\u00a3iile, iar ulterior a anulat spectacolul f\u00c4\u0192r\u00c4\u0192 a aduce careva explica\u00c5\u00a3ii. Am sunat la Ministerul Culturii, la teatru, dar a\u00c5\u0178a \u00c5\u0178i nu am reu\u00c5\u0178it s\u00c4\u0192 afl\u00c4\u0192m din ce cauz\u00c4\u0192 a fost anulat spectacolul. Ministrul culturii, Boris Foc\u00c5\u0178a, care anterior a promis c\u00c4\u0192 ne va ajuta, \u00e2\u20ac\u017e\u00c5\u0178i-a sp\u00c4\u0192lat m\u00c3\u00aeinile\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, a pus totul pe seama conducerii teatrului \u00c5\u0178i pretinde c\u00c4\u0192 nimic nu s-a \u00c3\u00aent\u00c3\u00aemplat\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, a comunicat Chiriac.<\/p>\n

Potrivit ei, \u00e2\u20ac\u017eanularea spectacolului este provocat\u00c4\u0192 de presiunile din partea Ambasadei Chinei de la Chi\u00c5\u0178in\u00c4\u0192u, dat fiind faptul c\u00c4\u0192 organiza\u00c5\u00a3ia Falun Dafa este interzis\u00c4\u0192 \u00c3\u00aen China, iar ambasadorul chinez s-a \u00c3\u00aent\u00c3\u00aelnit \u00c3\u00aen repetate r\u00c3\u00aenduri cu ministrul culturii \u00c5\u0178i cu administra\u00c5\u00a3ia teatrului, cer\u00c3\u00aend s\u00c4\u0192 nu permit\u00c4\u0192 ca spectacolul s\u00c4\u0192 fie prezentat\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n

Ea a \u00c3\u00aendemnat Guvernul Moldovei s\u00c4\u0192 nu permit\u00c4\u0192 Ambasadei Chinei s\u00c4\u0192 fac\u00c4\u0192 presiuni asupra Moldovei.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u017ePractican\u00c5\u00a3ii Falun Dafa \u00c3\u00aen Moldova \u00c3\u00aempreun\u00c4\u0192 cu actorii au protestat timp de dou\u00c4\u0192 zile la Guvern, \u00c3\u00aens\u00c4\u0192 nimeni nu a ie\u00c5\u0178it s\u00c4\u0192 vorbeasc\u00c4\u0192 cu noi. Ne e ru\u00c5\u0178ine pentru \u00c5\u00a3ara noastr\u00c4\u0192. Au fost peste 100 de persoane cet\u00c4\u0192\u00c5\u00a3eni str\u00c4\u0192ini, iar actorii s\u00c3\u00aent cet\u00c4\u0192\u00c5\u00a3eni ai SUA, care au prezentat spectacolul \u00c3\u00aen \u00c3\u00aentreaga Europ\u00c4\u0192. Este pentru prima dat\u00c4\u0192, aici \u00c3\u00aen Moldova, c\u00c3\u00aend nu li s-a permis nici chiar s\u00c4\u0192 intre \u00c3\u00aen incinta teatrului. Nu am a\u00c5\u0178teptat a\u00c5\u0178a ceva de la Guvernul nostru\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, a subliniat Chiriac.<\/p>\n

Ea a spus c\u00c4\u0192 trupa de actori se vor afla \u00c3\u00aen Moldova \u00c5\u0178i \u00c3\u00aen ziua de vineri, de aceea nu este t\u00c3\u00aerziu ca spectacolul s\u00c4\u0192 fie prezentat.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u017e\u00c3\u017dn urma acestei situa\u00c5\u00a3ii cel mai mult au avut de suferit spectatorii care au procurat bilete. Ei s\u00c3\u00aent dezam\u00c4\u0192gi\u00c5\u00a3i. Ei nu pot \u00c3\u00aen\u00c5\u00a3elege cum este posibil a\u00c5\u0178a ceva \u00c3\u00aen Moldova, \u00c5\u00a3ar\u00c4\u0192 democratic\u00c4\u0192. Ei nu \u00c5\u0178tiu pe cine s\u00c4\u0192 cread\u00c4\u0192. \u00c3\u017dn Moldova s\u00c3\u00aent multe drepturi, \u00c3\u00aens\u00c4\u0192 pe h\u00c3\u00aertie. \u00c3\u017dn realitate drepturile omului nu se respect\u00c4\u0192\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, sus\u00c5\u00a3ine Chiriac.<\/p>\n

Ea a men\u00c5\u00a3ionat c\u00c4\u0192, dac\u00c4\u0192 teatrul nu va \u00c3\u00aendeplini condi\u00c5\u00a3iile contractului \u00c5\u0178i nu va permite prezentarea spectacolului, Falun Dafa \u00c3\u00ae\u00c5\u0178i rezerv\u00c4\u0192 dreptul de a se adresa \u00c3\u00aen instan\u00c5\u00a3ele de judecat\u00c4\u0192.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u017eVom ac\u00c5\u00a3iunea administra\u00c5\u00a3ia teatrului \u00c3\u00aen judecat\u00c4\u0192 pentru \u00c3\u00aenc\u00c4\u0192lcarea drepturilor noastre \u00c5\u0178i vom solicita achitarea unei pagube de $200 mii. Vom solicita ajutorul tuturor ONG-urilor din Moldova \u00c5\u0178i al organiza\u00c5\u00a3iilor interna\u00c5\u00a3ionale pentru ap\u00c4\u0192rarea drepturilor omului. Sper\u00c4\u0192m c\u00c4\u0192 vom fi auzi\u00c5\u00a3i \u00c5\u0178i vom fi ajuta\u00c5\u00a3i\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, a spus Chiriac.<\/p>\n

Pre\u00c5\u0178edintele asocia\u00c5\u00a3iei Falun Dafa \u00c3\u00aen Europa, Mann-Yan Ng, este convins c\u00c4\u0192 \u00e2\u20ac\u017eanume Ambasadei Chinei a fost cea care nu a permis desf\u00c4\u0192\u00c5\u0178urarea spectacolului, deoarece autorit\u00c4\u0192\u00c5\u00a3ile din China au \u00c3\u00aencercat \u00c3\u00aen repetate r\u00c3\u00aenduri \u00c5\u0178i \u00c3\u00aen alte \u00c5\u00a3\u00c4\u0192ri din Europa s\u00c4\u0192 \u00c3\u00aempiedice prezentarea acestui spectacol al trupei Shen Yun Performing Arts, aflat\u00c4\u0192 \u00c3\u00aentr-un turneu mondial\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n
